| Orientation | |
The academic year at Jain College starts with a one week orientation which ends with an outbound activity. Students learn about the culture at Jain College and also get to know their respective teachers. Experts from various cities across the country come and enlighten the students on a vast gamut of topics like team building, goal setting, stress management, meditation and yoga etc. |

| Events & Fests | |
Joy-de-Verve - It is an in-house warm up fest organized for the BBA new admits by their seniors. It focuses at breaking the ice between the students and identifying the unseen flair of the freshers. It also acts as an inducting mechanism where the freshers learn about The JGI Group philosophy of constant efforts and evolution.
Endeavor - It is an in-house warm up fest organized for the BCA new admits by their seniors. Here the freshers are given a platform to showcase their technical as well as managerial skills. It also gives them an opportunity to know their seniors and feel an integral part of the Jain College family. Calibre - National Level Management Fest: It is a management fest organized exclusively by and for the first year BBA students. Aims at enhancing the skills of novices and build a strong foundation for their future endeavors. Here the students get an opportunity to exhibit their creativity, knowledge, analytical, decision making and other managerial skills. Crusade – National Level Management Fest: A management fest organized by the BBA final year students which is open for all the BBA semesters. Based on Theme SURVIVAL, it focuses on bringing out the realistic aspects of management thus preparing participants to face challenges outside the protected college environment |

| Industrial Visits | |
International Visit - Meritorious students of first year are sent for industrial visits abroad to acquire international exposure. Students visit universities and industries in foreign locations to learn and incorporate global perspective.
Local and National Industrial Visits - Learning at Jain College extends beyond the four walls of the classroom. Students visit various industries local as well as national and gain perspective on how things work in real world. They are required to submit reports on their learnings to the respective class teachers. |

| Faculty Development Programs | |
In academic year 2007-08 we had the opportunity to organize an orientation cum faculty development program for the staff of Jain College. The vision and mission of The JGI Group, the roles and responsibilities, the career path were there in the agenda apart from team building, positive thinking, stress management, effective time management,work culture and etiquette exercises. |
